Greg Dewling

Greg Dewling

Greg is the President and CEO of University of Alberta Properties Trust. Greg brings a depth of knowledge in community engagement, real estate development, financing, and government relations.

Over the years, Greg has led the development of numerous affordable housing projects in the city of Edmonton. His work included a first-of-its-kind joint venture with private sector to integrate affordable housing into market housing through a 50/50 partnership. In addition, Greg negotiated the first in Canada bond issue for long-term financing for use in developing affordable housing. He also launched a consulting firm within a public housing agency that delivered services to other housing agencies across Canada.

He has been a member of the Provincial Minister’s Housing Advisory Committee and sits on numerous other boards and committees.  He holds a Bachelor of Theology and Master of Business Administration along with an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors-Rotman School of Management. 

He regularly shares his experiences throughout the country in the areas of community engagement, development, partnerships, shared services, information technology, innovation, customer service, and governance.

Keaton came to UAPT after serving nearly seven years with the City of Beaumont in public works, technology, and project management leadership roles.

He completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Alberta and received his P. Eng. designation while working in land development prior to his time in Beaumont.  He also has his PMP designation through PMI.  Project management best practices are important to Keaton as they lay a foundation for successful projects.  Areas of significant experience and expertise are in land development, technology implementation, project management, and construction management.

As a natural leader, the Trust values Keaton’s exceptional ability to manage complex projects and build technology-leveraged solutions that allow streamlining. He is excited about the mission of the UAPT and being able to contribute. Keaton is enthusiastic about designing and developing spaces that Edmontonians will cherish for generations to come. He is keen on building community and delving into the cutting edge of the modern urban life.

Rickie Hunt - Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant

Rickie Hunt joined the Trust in July 2022 as the receptionist and administrative assistant. With 10+ years’ corporate-level experience she handles the office operations such as accounts payable, and daily correspondence. Rickie brings with her an extensive background in customer service from years spent in health and wellness, and corporate environments.

She is fiercely devoted to helping others succeed and is excited to bring her experiences and enthusiasm to the UAPT team. Rickie is the friendly voice that will greet you when you call the Trust office!
